Equally comfortable in a lecture hall, conference plenary, classroom or workshop setting, I am deeply committed to  teaching, sharing knowledge and creating situations that facilitate collaborative learning. Here are some of the subjects I teach.

  • Adjunct Lecturer in the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information, where I teach in the Master of Museum Studies program and supervise student internships. In the fall of 2018, I'm teaching a new elective course I developed called "Artifact, Audience, Text: Writing in the Museum."

  • Course Director for Exhibit Planning & Design, one of nine courses in the Ontario Museum Association's Certificate in Museum Studies.

  • Previous faculty appointment in the Fleming College Museum Management and  Curatorship program, where I developed and taught a one-term course that introduced students to the use of Adobe Creative Suite for the development of exhibit graphic panels.

  • Exhibit development workshops for participants in the Myseum of Toronto Intersections Festival.

  • One-to-three day exhibit development workshops. Past clients include The Organization of Military Museums of Canada, the Kawartha Lakes Historical Society and the City of Kingston's Cultural Services Department.
