Drawing on more than three  decades of work at cultural institutions in Canada and the United States, I  bring a wide variety of skills and perspectives to the development of museum exhibits.

Through my  experience with every aspect of exhibit development, my  teaching and practice combine a curator’s attention to detail and authenticity with an educator’s sense of audience, a designer’s eye for colour and layout, a fabricator’s knowledge of tools and materials and a manager’s ability to lead collaborative teams and keep on top of budgets and schedules.

My new book Creating Exhibits that Engage distills this knowledge into a practical, cost-effective, audience-centered and results-oriented guide for small to medium-sized museums and historical organizations.
